More than 110 tree species, 50 mammal species, 580 bird species and 25 reptile species are found in this park. Elephants are also one of the main attractions of Jim Corbett Park.

Spread over 116 square miles, Gir Sanctuary has been mainly created to protect the last wild population of Lion outside African region. Gir National Park is surrounded with Acacia and Banyan trees and mixed deciduous forests. Gir is not just about Lions, however, it is home to the largest leopard population in any park of India. Smabar Deer, Chital Spotted Deer, Chowsingha Four Horned Antelope, Nilgai Antelope, Wild boar are some famous wild animals found in this park.
