Cruise to Galapagos - A Mesmerizing Journey

Cruises are much different from travelling in passenger jets or trains perhaps because they offer a fun and memorable adventure. A cruise to Galapagos Islands is no different with a constantly pleasant weather, breathtaking natural beauty, scenic landscapes, green rainforests and sandy white shores. Galapagos is the name of a group of thirteen islands situated 600 miles west of the Ecuadorian Coast in the Pacific. These islands are listed among the World Heritage Sites being a sanctuary for endangered and some very rare animal species.

Because of the preserved natural habitat of endangered species that the islands have managed to maintain, a cruise to Galapagos is as popular among wildlife enthusiasts as it is among nature lovers. Cruises offer something unique to everyone; the thrill of sailing through the calm, azure waters of the Pacific, the overwhelming sense of excitement and the amazing panoramic view of all the thirteen Galapagos islands.

Cruises have formal dinners every evening where you can partake in various festivities such as balls, karaoke contests, a magic show, or even an act of stand-up comedy. Or you can just enjoy the assortment of delicious dishes that are served at your table. Cruises also have buffets once every week that allow you to eat as much as your heart desires. Some cruisers even have their own casinos where you can try your luck with cards and jackpot slot-machine.

Most people who cruise to Galapagos like it because of the chance to lounge on the spacious sundeck and bask in the tropical sun. Others rub on sun tan lotion as the tropical sun is perfect for getting that tan you have always wanted. Swimming pools and wading pools are a common feature that is available to the passengers all the time and Jacuzzis offer a refreshing massage on days you feel lethargic and are drained of energy.

Fishing is another common recreational activity as the seas of Galapagos thrive with big fishes that make an easy catch if you have the right bait. Catching your own meat to eat only adds to the thrill and excitement of cruising. When on a cruise to Galapagos Islands, it is customary for cruisers to dock at all thirteen islands of the Galapagos allowing visitors to experience first-hand the natural beauty and curious wildlife of the islands that are renowned throughout the world.

Even without the casinos, luxury suites, swimming pools and evening entertainment, the overall experience of the cruising through the calm cerulean seas of the Pacific is as good a reason to go on a cruise vacation because of the tranquility and relaxation. So you might want to make the right choice next time you have a tour guide in your hands.

Cruising the Mediterranean Information

Cruise holidays have long been a popular way to enjoy seeing some of the many sights across the world, and one popular destination is the Mediterranean. From the moment you step on board your ship, your holiday has begun, and while you relax, your floating hotel will transport you across the seas to the Mediterranean and all it has to offer.

There are over 200 islands in the Mediterranean as well as a number of mainland destinations, and although some are generally more popular than others, there is a wealth of choice here. Some of the destinations you might encounter on your trip include Italy and the islands of Sicily, Capri and San Pietro, mainland Spain, and the Spanish islands of Corsica and Majorca, as well as some larger islands such as Malta, Tunisia and Cyprus. The culture and diversity that can be found across this region is quite astounding, as well as many beautiful coastlines and of course the mild, warm climate of the Mediterranean.

Majorca is one of the more popular places to stop on a cruise trip, and when you consider all that Majorca has to offer visitors, it's not really too surprising. Virtually all the main towns and places of interest here are close to the coast including Palma which is the islands capital city. Outside the towns are groves of sweet smelling lemons, oranges and almonds, and when the blossoms are on the trees it's a sight to behold.

Other places which often feature on the cruise stops list are Malta with its megalithic temples and the catacombs of St Paul, Crete where there are five Minoan palaces at Knossos, and Capri whose steep sides offer visitors the chance to see amazing sea caves such as the Blue Grotto.

There are a variety of cruise lines that sail in this region, but one of the best known is P&O who offer cruises either to the Western Mediterranean or to the Eastern Mediterranean. A cruise to the Western side might include a trip to Barcelona, a sightseeing tour round Rome, and a chance to see some of the glamour of the Cote D' Azur. A trip to the Eastern side, and you might find yourself docking at Greece to visit the Parthenon, Egypt for a trip across the sands to visit the magnificent Pyramids, or into Venice where the canals form the city's roadways and buildings rise up out of the water.

Of course, no matter which way you sail, or which cruise line you sail with, you'll always get to enjoy the sunshine and sea, as well as all the onboard luxury of relaxing drinks by the poolside as you watch the coastlines appear and disappear between stops, and that wonderful feeling of awakening each morning with a new country on the doorstep.

Following These Tips Can Help You Select A Classic Motor Yacht

The best things in life are free right? Unfortunately, not so for most things, certainly not when you are thinking of buying a classic motor yacht. There are so many people who dream of classic yachts and imagine themselves traveling the world once they retire. Not just because of the sense of freedom it gives you, but also because of the social standing you will gain by owning a classic motor yacht. Of course, it is also possible to charter a yacht so that you can experience traveling the world in a yacht. So, if you want to own the yacht of your dreams and travel the world, there are a couple of things to think about so that you don't spend even more than you should. It all starts with research. First, you need to research which yacht best suits your needs and then look at which yacht will best suit your budget. Both are incredibly important considerations, of course.

The best place to start your research is the internet. You will be able to see what models are available and where to buy them from, as well as being able to read reviews by other owners on the way these yachts function. What makes them great and what makes them not so great, basically. Make sure you read these reviews, as these are generally written by people who are one step ahead of your situation. They are no longer looking, they have bought and tried. If you find a certain boat has many bad reviews, you may want to consider a different classic motor yacht, particularly if the bad sides seem to relate to things that are important to you. For example, if you enjoy the wind in your hair because of the yachts speed and most reviews say that a specific model of a classic motor yacht is very slow, then this boat is not for you. However, if you just want to take your time, then this yacht may suddenly become very interesting. Most times the seller is willing to negotiate the price as well.

Never, ever, buy a classic motor yacht before going to actually see it. Preferably, you should sail it for a little while as well. You need to really get the feel for the yacht, how it handles and how it sits on the waves. Make sure you check it inside and out, including the hull and any damage underneath. Don't be tempted to buy a yacht that simply doesn't offer you the quality you should expect for the price.

Guide to Best UK Destinations for a Weekend Break

Weekend breaks are great ways to relax in between longer holidays. However, you may need a few ideas on where you can get away for a few days. One of the first places to consider is the New Forest. Created in 2005, it is one of the newest National Parks in the UK. It is less than two hours away from the heart of London. There is regular train service to the Forest from London Waterloo station. You can also get there on the M3 or A31. A few highlights of the New Forest include the Beaulieu Estate, the marina at Buckler's Head, or Lymington Quay. You can get maps and other information at the New Forest Centre in Lyndhurst.

Another popular place for weekend breaks is the Cotswolds. Located mainly in the counties of Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, this area is one of the Areas of Outstanding Beauty. With rolling hills, dry stonewalls, sleepy villages, and market towns, this area of the UK is both a national and international favourite. Take a turn on the 102 mile long Cotswold Way. You might try the town of Broadway for a wonderful view of the countryside while strolling through shops, cafes, and art galleries. For a bit of Harry Potter or Pride and Prejudice, you might visit the village of Lacock where filming happens quite often.

If you want a place of ancient history outside of London, you should consider taking one of your weekend breaks in York. York is a two-hour train ride out of London. You can start at the largest medieval cathedral in England, the York Minster. There are tons of historical streets to wander through. You can find entrances to the 13th century walls at each of the medieval city gates, known as York's Bars. You can catch a performance at the York Theatre Royal or take a riverboat tour through the town.

If you want to take one of your weekend breaks in another city, you need to consider Manchester. This town has just about everything you would need for a weekend. Some of the best restaurants in the UK sit in this city. There are tons of stylish places for nightlife. Those that love romance will love to stroll along the streets of the 19th century heart of the city. A typical train ride from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly takes around 2.5 hours. These are just a few ideas for getting away for the weekend.

BVI's - One of The Best Cruising Grounds In The World

Imagine an idyllic, sun kissed cruising area, blessed with small uninhabited islands full of quiet anchorages, washed by the cooling Caribbean trade winds. Imagine no more! That area is the British Virgin Islands. The BVI's are one of the foremost cruising grounds in the world, offering short day sails between sheltered anchorages full of colorful marine life.

The British Virgin Islands (BVI) are a group of island situated between the end of the Caribbean Leeward islands and Puerto Rico. The four main islands of the BVI are Tortola, which hosts the capital Road Town, Anegada, Virgin Gorda, and Jost Van Dyke. The rest of the archipelago is made up of some 50 or so small islands and Cays. Arrivals are at the Terrance B Lettsome International Airport situated on Beef Island a short drive away from Road Town.

There are many ways of enjoying the BVI's but one of the best is to charter a yacht and explore the many bays and cays that dot these beautiful islands.

One of the longest established Yacht Charter companies in the islands is BVI Charter Yachts Ltd. This company was formed in 1974 and is without a doubt one of the most experienced yacht charterers in the business. They offer for hire a full range of yachts of all sizes, yachts such as large Luxury Power Boats, Catamarans, and Monohulls. There are two types of charter offered by the company these are Bareboat Charter, and Crewed Charter. BVI Yachts is based in the Inner Harbor, Road Town.

The difference between Bareboat charter and Crewed charter is simple. With a Bareboat charter you and your family crew the boat. There are no company employees on the boat. However should difficulties arise a company representative will arrive at your boat in very short order. The distances between the islands are not that great, in fact most of the islands are within a short distance of Road Town. With a Bareboat charter you have to cook all the meals on board and of course keep the boat clean and serviceable. Another alternative to Bareboat is to invite your family and friends for a vacation onboard a Crewed Charter yacht.

With a crewed charter, the crew is there to pamper to your desires. The crew know the area and wind patterns intimately and this knowlege can make the difference between a vacation that is fraught with problems, and one that will live in memory as the best you have ever experienced.

The very basic crewed charter regardless of the type of vessel that is being chartered is one that just has a skipper on board. Often a gourmet chef is hired along to create delicious cuisine complimented with fine wines and spirits. The crew also clean and maintain the boat. They know that the best sundowners can be found in Soopers Hole and where all the best fishing spots can be found. The skipper and crew employed by the company are totally professional in all things. Their brief is to make sure that your charter vacation is the best you have ever had. So the next time you consider a charter holiday contact BVI Charter Yachts via their website for information on your next yacht charter vacation.

Brad Hunter is an avid yachtsmen, globe traveler and founding figure behind http://crewedcharteryachts.com/, a comprehensive online resource devoted to the latest reports, on yachts and charter destinations available that emerge from the world of traveling aboard crewed charter yachts. A Luxury Traveler's Tipping Guide in France

There seems to be increasing confusion about appropriate tipping behavior while traveling. This type of travel etiquette is a source of many travelers concerns -- from staying in hotels to traveling on luxury barges or cruise ships. Small cruise ship tipping, including riverboat cruises, is based on industry standards and also our two decades plus experience in this business. Luxury travel comes with all the extras included in the experience, dining, locales, and especially service.

On Riverboat Cruises, the following applies:

For the Cruise Director: We recommend 3 Euro's per day, per passenger.

Example: 6 (passengers) x 3 Euro's = 18 Euros

Multiply this by the # of days for the cruise: 18 Euros x 5 (days) = 90 Euros

For the Crew: 12 Euro's per passenger, per day.

Example: 6 (passengers) x 12 Euro's = 72 Euros

Multiply this by the # of days for the cruise: 72 Euros x 5 (days) = 360 Euros

When traveling aboard Barge Cruises, which range in size from 4 - 24 passengers, industry standard is 5% of the total cruise price paid directly to the Captain.

But the mode of travel throughout France is only one area of tipping that travelers should be aware of; there are other areas the prepared traveler would be interested in. When you travel to France or plan a holiday in France, you will have to dine, stay in a hotel, occasionally travel by taxi, and take tours.

Almost all restaurants prices will include applicable taxes and a 15% service charge or service compris. If you find the service has been more than expected, indeed exceptional, leaving another 2-3% is customary, and so is leaving the waiter the small change from your bill when paying in cash. When service is not included or service non compris, a 15% tip is appropriate.

For hotels you should tip porters around 1.50 Euro per day for each bag, and chambermaids 1.50 Euro a day. "A Travelers Passport to Etiquette" explains that every time a service is performed, you need to tip, "That's part of the cost of travel," says author Lisa Mirza Grotts. You should pay a tip of 10-15% of the metered fare to taxi drivers; hairdressers should receive 10%, and assistants 5%. Smaller tips of around 1 Euro are reasonable for cloakroom and washroom attendants, ushers, and museum tour guides.

When going on excursions, it is standard practice to tip tour guides and bus drivers 1.50 - 3 Euro, dependent on your level of satisfaction of the service. It is suggested for hotels that travelers consult with the front desk to see whether tips are customarily left behind for each service provider or given to the front desk; policies vary.

Hopefully these tips will help you focus more on your travel and less on the sometimes complicated etiquette of tipping when you travel. Including your tipping expenses in your budget when you travel makes you an informed and organized traveler.

All Inclusive Cruises 2010 Deals Offer You a True Vacation

"Vacation used to be a luxury; however, in today's world, it has become a necessity." This is one of those wise quotes about love that we should all take to heart. With stress levels, obesity, and other medical problems mounting in our culture, we all need to remind ourselves that it's okay to take time off. The problem is that many people bring their work along on their vacation, or worse, they expect to relax and then stress themselves out handling all the logistics of traveling. When it's time for a vacation, the last thing you want to worry about is taking care of all of the separate expenses and reservations: lodging, food, and entertainment. On top of these basics, there is the task of coordinating activities like sightseeing, shopping, fitness, and relaxation in an unfamiliar setting. This is why all inclusive cruise deals are a popular and convenient vacation option. Cruises are appropriate for all types of people or groups and all sorts of vacations.

Cruises Offer Romance and Exotic Locations

Honeymooners, especially, want as few details as possible to think about while on their actual trip. Traditional island destinations like Tahiti, Hawaii, and the Bahamas are just some of the destination options. Singles cruises allow unmarried people to travel safely to faraway lands while giving them a chance to meet that special someone. A singles cruise can feel less forced than other singles events and activities, and you can either go alone or share your vacation with a single friend! Some people even plan wedding cruises and have all guests on board while they share a journey of love together. Second weddings, vow renewals, anniversary celebrations, and engagement celebrations are a few other possibilities for cruise vacations.

Cruises Are More than Just the Love Boat

Cruises aren't just about romance, however. Family cruises provide plenty of entertainment in a relatively controlled environment. Children can attend separate activities than adults. With plenty of on-board entertainment like movies, live shows, and swimming pools, nobody on board will be bored! Sometimes, groups like family reunions will schedule a cruise together. Basically, any type of gathering is suitable for a cruise.

It's important to keep in mind that many, if not most, cruises are not all-inclusive. For this reason, it is important to read the fine print. Always key "all inclusive cruises 2010 deals" into an Internet search, and make it clear to your travel agent that an all-inclusive package is the only type of cruise you're interested in. Next time you're on vacation, be prepared to really kick back and relax!

Additional articles and tips on the wise quotes about love and all inclusive cruises 2010 topics can be found on our Internet for Christians website. We provide you with free, detailed information on quotes/SMS, wedding items, baby products, weight loss tips, gift items, Christian praise information and much more.

Two such ships were ordered in early 2006, and Royal Caribbean began production on two of the world's most impressive cruise liners, Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas. Allure is currently under construction, but Oasis was finished in 2009.

Oasis is expected to join up with her sister ship by 2011, but for the moment, she stands alone as the largest vessel at sea and certainly the jewel of the Royal Caribbean fleet. The previous largest cruise liner was the Freedom-class cruise ships of Royal Caribbean. The Freedom-class ships were 1,111 feet long and 208 feet high and were like towns at sea.

Coming in even larger and with more room, the Oasis of the Seas is like a floating city. The ship's displacement is about 100,000 tons, and its weight is astonishing at over 225 thousand gross tons. This ship was created for stability. Amazingly, only 30 feet of the ship sits beneath the water. It's so wide that the displacement is well distributed, helping the ship to handle waves.

1,181 feet of length, 236 feet in height, more shops and restaurants than your average mall, and a weight close to an aircraft carrier means that it takes a lot to power the Oasis of the Seas. In order to power this beast, six separate diesel engines are used - they're combined into three 16-cylinder diesels producing over 25,000 hp each.

Not only do the engines have to power the cruise liner's movements, but Oasis needs massive amounts of electricity generated to power the many electronic components, elevators, a water treatment plant, and much, much more.

The features onboard are simply incredible. For everyone who's never been on a large cruise liner, the experience is like visiting a portable shopping mall. You'll find a karaoke club, a comedy club, volleyball and basketball courts, four pools, a casino, a mini-golf course, and more.Oasis has all entertainment and athletic zones broken down in seven "neighborhoods."

The first part is called Central Park. Within this zone, you'll find various restaurants and bars, stores, the Rising Tide bar that covers three different levels, and a living, breathing park with over 12,000 plants. The second zone is the Pool and Sports Zone featuring a large pool and surf simulators. Zone three is the Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center.

The fourth zone is an impressive area called the Boardwalk, and it features rock-climbing walls, a tattoo parlor, an aqua theater, restaurants, shops, and much more. Zone five is the Royal Promenade and features the high-class shops and restaurants. Zone six is the Youth Zone with computers and a science lab, and zone seven is called the Entertainment Place.

Oasis of the Seas has 16 decks and can carry a total of 6,300 passengers at speeds of up to 22.6 knots. There are even two-story loft luxury suites on board, providing guests with 1,600 square feet of living space.

Review of the Monaco Yacht Show

The 19th annual Monaco Yacht Show was held September 23rd through the 26th. An estimated 30,000 people arrived over the three-day event, making it one of the busiest in recent memory in terms of foot traffic. However, this years show seemed to feature fewer businesses in attendance and fewer big yacht unveilings.

The lack of big-budget releases can be due to the economic downturn finally forcing even the rich and famous to tamp down their spending habits. It can also be to avoid negative publicity. Some publications love nothing more than to rail against the owners and companies of the newest and most lavish yachts, especially in times like these. It sells papers.

However, the event was far from a bust. An estimated 500 companies participated to showcase their latest offerings to the world of yachting. Not only do the companies have a welcoming and eager platform to unveil their latest builds, but it also gives them an opportunity to whet the appetites of potential buyers by divulging news and plans of future builds.

The Monaco Yacht Show has always stood atop the list of global luxury yacht shows, and this year wasn't an exception.

In the Superyacht category, featuring world-class luxury yachts of 25 meters to 90 meters, over 100 ships were on display for the fans to witness. There were also 40 brand new builds to behold in the harbor, making for some great eye candy.

Some of the highlights included the release of the new Icon 62. The Icon 62 instantly turned heads. This 62-meter custom Superyacht was originally pitched and sold at the 2006 Monaco Yacht Show. It arrived this year ready to go for the lucky buyer, and all in attendance were absolutely floored by its style and breathtakingly large size.

The new Chrisco by CNB was also launched. Although not as large as the Icon build, Chrisco still managed to leave onlookers in awe due to its construction. This 30-meter ship features a composition body of carbon balsa vinylester, making it super lightweight and incredibly strong. Whats most impressive about Chrisco, however, is that its a sailing ship not an engine-powered yacht.

During a show of this caliber, it doesnt take a Superyacht to draw massive attention. At the German Frers stand, guests could look at the incredibly lifelike plans of yachts and also witness what was for sale.

The show was everything a yacht lover would expect from Monaco. There were impressive builds, new designs, slues of tours on state-of-the-art ships, and plenty of other attractions. But perhaps the most appealing aspect to some is the perks of attending.

BMW provides courtesy cars for the guests, and the casino supermarket is in close vicinity. Monaco, located at the southernmost tip of France, just across from northeastern Italy, is also a beautiful location with plenty of history and countless sights to see.

2009s show was certainly a success; and even though fewer businesses were in attendance, the Monaco Yacht Show isn't losing any steam. 2010s show is expected to be even larger.

You Would Be Surprised About the Huge Range of Yachts Available

The world of yachts is a varied one, there are many types which will suit numerous uses and a range of budgets.

Day sailing luxury yachts are typically small, at less than 20 feet in length. Occasionally called dinghies, they usually have a very retractable keel, centerboard, or daggerboard. Most day sailing yachts don't have a very cabin, as they're designed for hourly or every day use and not for overnight journeys. At very best they may have a very 'cubby', where the front part of the hull has a raised solid roof to supply a place to store equipment or to offer fundamental shelter from wind or spray.

Weekender luxury yachts are slightly larger, at below 30 ft (9.5 m) in length. They often have twin keels or lifting keels this kind of as in trailer sailers. This allows them to operate in shallow waters, and if required "dry out"-become beached as the tide falls. The hull shape (or twin-keel layout) enables the boat to sit upright when there is no water. These kinds of boats are designed to undertake brief journeys, rarely lasting more than 2 or three days (hence their name). In coastal areas, extended trips may possibly be undertaken in a series of quick hops. Weekenders typically have only a straightforward cabin, frequently consisting of only one "saloon" with bedspace for two to three individuals. Clever use of ergonomics permits space within the saloon for a galley (kitchen), seating, and navigation gear. There is limited room for stores of water and food. Most are boats with one mast(not to be confused with the kind of traditional Bermudian ship referred to as a Bermuda sloop), using a solitary foresail from the jib or genoa sort plus a sole mainsail (a single variation of the aforementioned Bermuda rig). Some are gaff rigged. The smallest of this sort, usually called pocket yachts or pocket cruisers, and trailer sailers could be transported on unique trailers.

Cruising luxury yachts Cruising yachts are by the far the most widespread yacht in private use, making up most from the 25 to 45 ft (7 to 14 m) range. These vessels may be very complex in style, as they will need a balance between docile handling qualities, interior area, excellent light-wind performance and on-board comfort. The huge variety of such craft, from dozens of builders worldwide, makes it hard to give just one illustrative description. Nonetheless, most favour a teardrop-planform hull, with a wide, flat bottom and deep single-fin keel to offer good stability. Most are boats with one sail, with a sole fore-sail with the jib or Genoa type plus a sole mainsail. Spinnaker sails, in different sizes, are often supplied for down-wind use. These types are often chosen as family vessels, particularly those inside the 26 to 40-foot (8 to 12 m) array. This kind of a vessel will generally have several cabins below deck. Usually there is going to be three double-berth cabins; just one significant saloon with galley, seating and navigation equipment; plus a "head" consisting of a toilet and shower-room.

Most significant luxury yachts, 50 ft (15 m) (15 m) and up, are also cruisers, but their design varies greatly as they're frequently "one off" designs tailored to the certain needs from the buyer. The interior is usually finished in wood panelling, with plenty of storage area. Cruisers are quite capable of taking on long-range passages of many thousands of miles. This kind of boats have a very cruising speed upwards of 6 knots. This fundamental layout is typical of the standard types produced by the major yacht-builders.

These luxury boats are typically 82 ft (25 m) or longer. In current decades, these luxury boats have evolved from fairly easy vessels with simple accommodation into sophisticated and luxurious boats. This is largely as a result of decreased hull-building costs brought about by the introduction of fibreglass hulls, and elevated automation and "production line" methods for yacht constructing, particularly in Europe.

On the biggest, 130-foot-plus (40 m) luxury luxury yachts, each and every modern convenience, from air conditioning to TV, is found. Sailing luxury boats of this size are often highly automated with, for instance, computer-controlled electric winches controlling the sails. This kind of complexity requires dedicated power-generation methods. In recent decades the amount of electrical gear utilized on luxury boats has increased greatly. Even 20 years ago, it was not widespread for a 25-foot (7 m) yacht to have electrical lighting. Now all but the smallest, most fundamental luxury yachts have electrical lighting, radio, and navigation aids these kinds of as Global Positioning Methods. Yachts around 33 ft (10 m) bring in comforts these kinds of as hot water, pressurised drinking water methods, and fridges.

Worlds Most Luxurious Yachts - Fountaine Pajot Summerland 40

Fountaine Pajot has been designing some impressive and unique yachts for years now, and their 2009 Summerland 40 Trawler Cat is no exception. This 40-foot power catamaran isn't like the typical yachts you see in the water everyday.

Catamarans are a completely different design and made more for long, slow cruises in medium-depth waters. Even still, the market is huge.

The Summerland 40 catamaran was specifically engineered to hold up very well on long cruises. The boat was designed to carry a large family safely, and there is plenty of room onboard to have a family outing chocked full of activities.

One of the most important aspects Fountaine Pajot decided to include on this yacht was a high-tech infusion-composite material for the hull that would result in a very low-maintenance, high-strength and long-lasting body. The design definitely takes a no frills approach, but the care that went into building the Summerland 40 shows the company's dedication to yachting.

Cruisers can certainly appreciate the way this trawler moves in the water. Not only is it one of the most efficient catamaran models on the market, but the interior of the yacht is comparable to any motoryacht or sportscruiser of the same length. The open space construction provides the equivalent of 60-feet of space aboard a 40-foot vessel.

There are no obstacles onboard the Summerland to contend with. The sheltered cockpit is completely open inside and provides easy access to the expanded flybridge directly behind it. The saloon area of the Summerland is also very practical and modern. Since they're on the same level, other areas of the ship, like the chef's galley and dining area, are able to stand alone.

Larger catamarans are certainly known for their space. However, smaller trawlers are sometimes cramped and don't feature spacious rooms of any type. This is yet another area where the Fountaine Pajot designers really went to work on creating a roomy and comfortable yacht.

This attention to crucial detail is reflected in the larger owner's suite that features a large bed, a lot of storage space, a bathroom and wonderful views from the large, oval-shaped windows. On the opposite side of the yacht, two smaller suites, perfect for children, offer up twin beds, a shower room and ample storage space, as well as great views.

Fountaine Pajot's Summerland 40 is also a good choice for environmentally friendly yachters. Because of the unique trawler system on this catamaran, the yacht consumes 40% less fuel while operating. The cutting-edge composite structure and the large size work together to help the boat travel at the same speed over long distances without consuming much power at all.

Summerland isn't exactly a speedboat. It's only able to travel at a max speed of 8.7 knots and can cruise at a speed of 7.5. Even still, for family outings on the water, it is a spacious, reliable and eco-friendly yacht.

During the first half of the last century, luxury cruises were the rage. Massive, ornate ships with endless amenities ruled the seven seas. Trans-ocean flights were uncommon. However, it's quite different living in an immediate generation. There are a myriad of flights to anywhere on the globe. But there are still a plethora of luxury cruises for those who are as concerned about the magical journey as they are about a spectacular destination.

If you would enjoy a few more days at sea and fewer ports of call, then a luxury liner is right up your alley. There's nothing like the endless expanse of the sea. It's all about relaxing in style.

Bigger Is Better

There are a number of differences between luxury ships and excursions on pedestrian liners. Larger cabins, less crowded public spaces and exceptional dining experiences are typical for the top of the liner vacations. You'll have the opportunity to get away from everything or immerse yourself in an array of activities. It's impossible to be bored aboard a vessel loaded with possibilities.

Lush Features

Luxury ships feature world-class entertainment. Broadway style revues, musical acts and top-notch comics work the rooms on first class liners. "It's the greatest gig in the world for a comedian," stand-up comic Bobby Collins said. "They upped the ante on luxury lines hiring guys like me and David Brenner. They spare no expense on entertainment. That's not the way it was just a few years ago but now it's a different game. You have world-class artists on luxury ships and you never run out of things to do. It's absolutely awesome."

Entertainment

Fun activities are ubiquitous and constant. Luxury cruises feature movie theaters, dance clubs, spa treatments, piano bars, casinos, an array of restaurants, outdoor barbecues, boutique shopping, lectures, wine tastings, enormous swimming pools, jogging tracks, weight-lifting rooms, saunas, demonstrations and reading areas. It's like boarding a floating Manhattan, a city, or ship that never sleeps. But there is also plenty of quiet time. If you want to book a room that's five-star quality, with an array of delectable items that would sate a foodie but prefer to be alone for much of your trip, such an excursion would be perfect.

Book Your Getaway

It's not difficult to find the right luxury cruise. Where there is sea, there is a lux-liner. You can board such a vessel in such disparate parts of the world from New Zealand to New England to Antarctica. The bounds are limitless. You just need 40 tons of steel and just add water, lots of water. All you actually need is a reservation. Keep in mind that it's best to book in advance since the finer ships sell out quickly. You don't want to miss out on an experience that is unlike any other vacation.

Take care to look for a company and business that has a proven track record in this area already. Whether you become an associate or a customer, you want to make sure that you can contact the people behind the business (responsive executive, associate, customer and technical support).

Is there transparency? Is the executive leadership identifiable? Can you contact them and are they responsive?

How about your team leader and sponsor? While it's a bonus if they have prior business experience, be sure to look for someone who is a strong and motivated leader that has the ability to help you grow your business and team.

From a business perspective, the type and quality of marketing training and promotional (marketing) systems will be THE difference in your success (or lack thereof). But ultimately the thing you need most for success is YOU. Make no mistake, as with anything in life, nothing in life will happen unless YOU make it happen. Having great support and an awesome product just makes it easier.

No matter where you are in the world, travel will continue to be a hot industry. NOW is an especially great time to capitalize on the growing opportunities and trends that are forecast.
